Products
Texaura products are crafted from GOTS-certified long-staple organic cotton grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. Unlike mass-market bedding, our textiles are not treated with softening agents for a first-impression effect — they are designed to soften naturally with each wash, growing more comfortable over time while retaining their structure. Every piece is made in Fair Trade certified factories in India.
Yes. Every product is manufactured in Fair Trade certified factories that ensure fair wages, safe working conditions, and dignity of labour. Our supply chain is certified and traceable from the field to the finished product. You can learn more on our Honest Standard page.
Our products carry GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification — the world's leading standard for organic textiles — and are made in Fair Trade certified facilities.
These certifications cover the entire supply chain, from raw cotton farming through to the finished product.
Yes. All Texaura textiles are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. We use no synthetic blends, polyester fills, or chemical softeners in any of our products.
This is by design. Products treated with chemical softeners feel immediately plush but deteriorate quickly.
Our organic cotton naturally softens with each wash and becomes increasingly comfortable over time — a quality that reflects the material's integrity rather than a manufacturing shortcut.
Yes. Because our cotton is grown organically and processed without harsh chemicals or synthetic dyes, Texaura products are gentle on sensitive skin.
Many customers with eczema, psoriasis, or chemical sensitivities find organic cotton textiles a meaningful improvement.
Yes. Natural cotton fibres open up with repeated washing, significantly increasing absorbency. We recommend washing your Texaura towels and bathrobes two to three times before first use for optimal performance.
Sustainability
GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard — the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It prohibits the use of toxic chemicals, ensures environmentally responsible manufacturing, and requires fair labour practices throughout the entire supply chain.
All Texaura orders are shipped in plastic-free, recycled, and recyclable packaging. Our boxes and tissue wrapping are sourced from sustainable suppliers, and every order is gift-ready, with no additional packaging needed.
Organic cotton farming eliminates synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, significantly reducing chemical runoff into soil and waterways.
It also typically uses less water than conventional cotton through rain-fed farming practices and supports biodiversity in farming communities.
We are actively working toward reducing our carbon footprint across manufacturing, packaging, and shipping. We believe in transparency over greenwashing — read our full sustainability position here.
Care
Yes. Tumble drying on low heat is safe and helps restore fluffiness. Remove promptly after the cycle ends and give the product a gentle shake. Avoid high heat settings as these can weaken fibres over time.
We recommend avoiding liquid fabric softeners. They coat cotton fibres with a film that reduces breathability and absorbency. If you prefer softening, add half a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle — it naturally breaks down residue without leaving any scent.
Act quickly. Blot (do not rub) the stain, then apply a small amount of mild detergent directly to the area before washing. For stubborn stains, soak in cool water with a small amount of oxygen-based cleaner (free of optical brighteners). Avoid chlorine bleach, which degrades organic cotton fibres.
With proper care — cool-warm washing, low-heat drying, no bleach or fabric softener — Texaura products are designed to last many years. Long-staple organic cotton is inherently more durable than short-staple or blended fibres.

Returns
At this stage, all international orders are final sale, and we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. We encourage you to review product descriptions, dimensions, and care information carefully before placing your order. If you have any questions before purchasing, our team is happy to help —contact us here.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, regardless of your location. This is the one exception to our final sale policy.
International returns involve significant logistical complexity — customs documentation, return freight, and potential re-import duties make the process impractical and costly for both parties at our current scale.
We are working to improve this as we grow. In the meantime, we are always happy to answer questions before you order so you can purchase with confidence.
If your tracked shipment shows no movement for more than 15 business days beyond the estimated delivery window, please contact us.
We will investigate with the carrier and, where confirmed lost, arrange a replacement or refund.
