Designed Honestly.
No Myths.
Made to Last.
Every thread tells the truth.
What's actually in your bedsheet? Where was it made? By whom? Under what conditions?
Most brands hope you won't ask.
We built The Honest Standard™ because you should — and because you deserve real answers.
Thread Count
Higher thread count means better quality.
Exceptional bedding is shaped by the quality of fibre, yarn, weave, finishing, and craftsmanship working together. Thread count is simply one part of a much larger story.
100% Cotton
If it says 100% cotton, it's good quality.
The word cotton describes a fibre, not how it is grown. Certified organic cotton is cultivated without synthetic pesticides and is valued for its softness, breathability, and lasting comfort.
Softness at First Touch
If it feels soft in the store, it's high quality.
Immediate softness can be created through finishing treatments. The good fabrics derive their comfort from exceptional fibre, thoughtful weaving, and skilled craftsmanship.
Organic Cotton, Because It Matters
Conventional cotton farming uses approximately 16% of the world's insecticides despite covering just 2.5% of global farmland. Certified organic cotton — the foundation of every Texaura collection — is grown without synthetic pesticides or chemicals, using no GMO seeds, significantly less water, and farming methods that actively restore soil health.
The result is a fabric that is cleaner at every stage — from the soil it grows in, to the skin it rests against.
Weaves With Purpose
Every Texaura weave is chosen for a reason. Percale for its crisp, cool breathability — the weave that improves with every wash. Sateen for its smooth, draped weight and natural sheen. Waffle for its textured depth and superior absorbency in bath collections.
Each weave is selected for how it performs, breathes, and lives over years of daily use.
Craftsmanship and Time
Exceptional fabric cannot be hurried. It is shaped through hundreds of considered decisions, from weaving and finishing to detailing and construction. The difference often reveals itself gradually: in the way a fabric breathes, softens, and develops character through years of use.
Texaura works with these artisans directly — sustaining a living craft tradition and the communities built around it.
People and Product
Every Texaura manufacturing partner operates under Fair Trade certification — meaning fair wages, safe working conditions, no child labour, and a genuine culture of respect. The quality of a product is inseparable from the conditions in which it was made.
Respect for craftsmanship begins with respect for people.
